I would like to know if the process of being discharged from a Shared Equity Mortgage would be considered a situation where a limited retainer is appropriate? More so, my question is: how much should it cost to complete the discharge process with a lawyer? I am not in the legal industry, but I feel like this sort of situation would not be as involved as the paperwork to purchase a house. I am wondering how much this process should cost to help me in shopping for rates! Thanks!!!
