Completing Forms 21, 23 and 26??

Josh Bagnall (Morinville)

Hello,

I'm not 100% sure if this is the right direction I need to go, but I am trying to complete the remaining paperwork for my divorce and need some guidance on which forms are required and what information to include. I previously had a lawyer and went through a trial summary, but was dropped after I could no longer afford representation.

I have Forms FL‑21, FL‑23, and FL‑26 partially completed, but I am not fully understanding what information or process is being requested in certain sections. I’m not looking for extensive help—just some general direction.

If someone could provide me with a small amount of assistance, that would be greatly appreciated.

You can either email me back or call me at (780) 619-3235

Thank you and have a great day.

Josh Bagnall

Hi Josh,

It is unlikely anyone will be calling you from this post. If you want to contact any of us listed in the Directory at the top of the page to inquire about availability and fees for limited scope work such as this, though, we will be happy to take your call.

If you are looking for basic general guidance on court forms, you can contact Resolution Services which is a free service provided by the Alberta Justice Ministry. Depending on your specific circumstances, you may qualify for the Student Legal Services Do-Your-Own-Divorce Clinic at the UofA Law School or Student Legal Guidance at the UofC Law School to get assistance with forms.
