Good morning,

There is not enough detail to provide a full answer. Who is living in the home. Are the parties in the middle of divorce proceedings? has there been a separation agreement signed.

The Husband cannot be forced to buy the ex-wife out.

An application can be made for force the sale of the home. There are a lot of factors involved to this type of application and I recommend that you book a consultation with a family law lawyer. The lawyer would be able to gather more specifics with respect to your inquiry and provide you with more options. This would include the viability of those options.
