Relocation

CW (Calgary)

In November there was a relocation trial allowing my ex to relocate to a different city (where no family or supports or job or education were). In March I moved back to Calgary where we are both from, my family, her family and our friends live. After being granted relocation She’s now mentioned more times then once that the move wasn’t supposed to be permanent and is considering moving back to Calgary in a year. My oldest goes into grade 1 this year which means he would be switching schools for grade 2.
I’m in the process of filing a new relocation hearing based on this, what is the best way to go about it? Are there grounds for it?

Are you trying to stop her moving back to Calgary?
Or do you want her to move back sooner so your son would start grade 1 in Calgary?
If you consent to the relocation back to Calgary, then you do not need to go to court.
I recommend a confidential meeting with a lawyer to discuss your specific situation in a private setting. There are many lawyers on this website who offer limited scope services, such as a one hour consultation, which likely would be suitable to go over your options and help you decide on the most appropriate course of action.
